Well Hurricane Ike came and went but not without taking a swipe at me. Nothing too serious but my in laws did end up at my house for a day. They are from Houston and decided to ride out the storm but when the room sprung several leaks they just headed up here. I lost power a little here and there but mostly just got a little rain.
I saw what happened to some of the southern cities, and what it is doing north of me. I can't believe how strong it is over the middle of the US.
If anyone was in the path of Hurricane or Tropical Storm Ike then please let me and everyone know how it was for you.
